How Wrestling Betting Works

We here at Wrestling Betting work a little different than other betting tips websites you may have visited, for two reasons.

First of all, we know that fans of wrestling come from various different backgrounds, and may struggle to put the quite frankly obscene amounts of money on betting on other sports websites. Even if we wanted to, many bookies don’t allow huge bets to be placed on wrestling.

The second is that, unlike other forms of sport or entertainment, there are very few markets on wrestling betting, usually it is the pay-per-views, rather than every week. As such, we have to put a few similar bets on to maximise return.

So we bet in points, rather than figures. The points will always add up to 10, and 10 points should be equal to the amount you are willing to lose. So say, for a Pay Per View, you have a limit of £10. Each point is worth £1.

We will make our predictions and assign it a point value to maximise return. Our most confident bet will be awarded a larger point value than a less confident bet. You can then put the amount of money on that bet that matches with the point value.

So for example say if we have the following:-

  • Wrestler 1, Wrestler 2, & Wrestler 3 to win – 3 points
  • Wrestler 4 & Wrestler 1 to win – 4 points
  • Wrestler 2 & Wrestler 5 to win – 4 points

Using the example above we will place the following bets:-

  • Wrestler 1, Wrestler 2, & Wrestler 3 to win – 3 points – £3
  • Wrestler 4 & Wrestler 1 to win – 4 points – £4
  • Wrestler 2 & Wrestler 5 to win – 4 points – £4

Hope that makes sense, any questions, please drop us an email.
