WWE Royal Rumble 2020 – Betting Tips

This weekend is the Royal Rumble! Always one of the best PPV’s of the year, that’s largely been held sacred, this show is usually great as it shows of one of the most unique matches of the year. It’s also a big betting market too. Weirdly, it seems slightly down with some big players not taking bets on it. Nevertheless, we’ve a bunch of events you can bet on. As usual, the best odds are in the betting markets, so I’ve gone for bets both I agree with and are also good value.

First off, I’ve gone for Roman Reigns to win the Men’s Royal Rumble. Reigns has been in a holding pattern for a wee while waiting for his rehabilitation – a big player but not pushed as much as usual. I feel Brock’s match will be the focus for Wrestlemania (and his potential dethroner), so Reigns against Wyatt seems like a match that would see Reigns once again climb to the top of the mountain, the easiest way to do this is in the Royal Rumble. For Reigns to win the best odds are 1/2 with Paddy Power, Betfair, Betway & Boylesports.

Next up, a huge prediction. Charlotte Flair to win the Women’s Royal Rumble. Unlike my other writer I feel like Bayley will still be champion going into Wrestlemania, and although the predictable storyline is Lynch vs Baszler, there’s still time to build that storyline. Give Charlotte a Royal Rumble win, maybe from #3, could see a bit of a push in a poorly booked event. For The Queen to go into another Women’s title match at Wrestlemania the best odds are a whopping 12/1 with Betway. A lot of bookies have odds are 5/1, so this is cracking value.

Next up is a bit of an insurance bet. Roman Reigns to beat Baron Corbin. If Roman Reigns does not win the Rumble, he’ll definitely beat Baron Corbin. There’s an argument if he loses this match he will win the Rumble. There’s not a small possibility he wins both. So, this is a safe bet at a decent price. For Reigns to win this match the best odds are 8/11 with William Hill.

Next up and finally a special bet – we’ve gone for a Charlotte, Roman Reigns & Drew McIntyre to be in the last 4 of their respective Royal Rumbles. I feel that Drew McIntyre may be an outside bet to win, but I feel there isn’t really a story for him going forward if he does win. Nevertheless, him & Kevin Owens I feel will have good Rumbles. For this event to occur the best odds are 11/4 with Betway.

• For Bray Wyatt to beat Daniel Bryan, the best odds are 1/5 with Betway.
• For Becky Lynch to beat Asuka, the best odds are 1/4 with Betway.
• For Sheamus to beat Shorty G, the best odds are 1/6 with William Hill.
• For Lacey Evans to beat Bayley, the best odds are 7/4 with William Hill.
