WWE TLC 2017: Predictions

Another weekend another PPV lined up for us. I am marginally excited about this one mostly because of the reformation of The Shield which I think will be pretty epic. I wonder if they are going to have more of a comeback or if it will be just a one off? Either way it has got my interest! So lets have a look at the card shall we and see what else we have in store!

TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs Match

The Shield vs Braun Strowman, the Miz, Kane, Cesaro & Sheamus

So this match is certainly the one I am looking forward to. A Tables Ladders and Chairs 5 on 3 handicap match. What could be better? And The Shield back together again! It was only a matter of time before that happened if you ask me…   I know who I want to win, as much as I adore Sheamus I have got to put my money on The Shield here. And not just because I refuse to back The Miz and his annoying face. But The Shield back in the day were unstoppable, they were unpredictable and they were exciting. Any opportunity for that to come back and I am all over it! I think they will certainly have their work cut out for them going up against 5 huge superstars but can they pull it off? I hope so!

Prediction: The Shield to win

WWE RAW Women’s Championship

Alexa Bliss (c) vs Mickie James

Another challenger to the title, another for Bliss to put back in their place. I find this a bit of a strange match really. I just don’t see Mickie James being able to unseat Bliss from her throne anytime soon. Despite James returning to the WWE to help Bliss, that didn’t stop Bliss from bad-mouthing her once she had served her purpose. And so the animosity between the two grew. Does Mickie James have what it takes? Can she still pull out a title win after all this time? Or is she past her sell by date and is Bliss right that James is an Old Lady? Only one way to find out…

Prediction: Alexa Bliss to win

The Demon vs Sister Abigail

Finn Balor has had a pretty decent run against Bray Wyatt of late. He has won a couple of big matches against him, the last of which was a Man vs Man at No Mercy. So it seems only fitting that this match should be their alter egos going up against each other. Does The Demon have what it takes to make it a 3rd win? Or will Sister Abigail finally get one over on The Demon and send him back to a mental hell? Obviously we all know I have a soft spot for the Irish so it is pretty obvious where my fan ties lie. But setting that aside I do genuinely think that Balor and his Demon have what it takes to silence Sister Abigail this weekend.

Prediction: The Demon to win

WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Kalisto (c) vs Enzo Amore

So Enzo Amore has called on his rematch clause this weekend and intends to try and take the championship from current champ Kalisto at TLC. It was a bit of a shock when Kalisto took the belt from Amore in a recent match on RAW and now Amore is hell bent on getting his belt back. Literally anything could happen in this match. Enzo has not made many friends within the division as it is. I think he needs this win more than Kalisto does and therefore I hope he manages to pull it out of the bag when it counts.

Prediction: Enzo Amore to win

Asuka vs Emma

Asuka is FINALLY coming up to the main roster this weekend. A move that has been much anticipated for ages now. And what better match for her to debut in than to go up against Emma. Asuka was undefeated in NXT – can she continue that run in the main ring? There were several contenders wanting to be the first person in the ring with Asuka but Emma won a fatal 5 way match to get her spot in the ring with the undefeated Empress of Tomorrow. I honestly do not see Emma being any real threat to Asuka having followed her through NXT she has fought much bigger and stronger challengers and seen them off in a matter of minutes.
