So this weekend is WWE Extreme Rules, and it is a pretty full on set of bookmakers with markets open this month, even if there are some odd choices.
First and foremost nobody is taking bets on the added The Club vs The Usos match, which is disappointing. But oddly very few bookmakers are taking bets on Baron Corbin vs Dolph Ziggler. Of them, 888Sport aren’t taking bets on who will win the Intercontinental Championship, but rather who will lose. That is nearly impossible to predict, so I cannot predict that.
There are also a few special bets knocking around, mostly with Betfair, so I’ve added a few. I’ve also changed the structure slightly of the odds, as there is a very strong double that I can see coming in, so I’ve lumped a fair bit of cash on that.
So without further ado, here are our Extreme Rules 2016 Betting Tips.
Extreme Rules 2016 – Double
I cannot see the championship changing hands in either the men’s or the women’s division. The deck seems so stacked against Charlotte I can see her winning, and Roman Reigns – despite talk of the experiment “failing” – I can see retaining. If the experiment is failing, I can see a cash in on him to keep him a little strong, for now.
- Roman Reigns beats AJ Styles
- Charlotte beats Natalya
I have put 5 points on the above bet – you can read about the points system here.
If 1 point is £1, you can win £6.42 off a £5 bet with Sky Bet. New customers can win £7.94 off a £5 bet at 888Sport
Extreme Rules 2016 – 5 Fold
I’ve gone for slightly less predicted winners for the 5 fold, hence why the above is a double. I can see all 3 of these participants in this 5 fold losing, but then again I can also see them winning quite comfortably. Every match has some doubt, so I couldn’t pick one to beef up the double into a treble, however I can see this coming off, relatively safely.
- Roman Reigns beats AJ Styles
- Charlotte beats Natalya
- The New Day Beat The Vaudevillians
- Baron Corbin beats Dolph Ziggler
- Dean Ambose beat Chris Jericho
I have put 2 points on the above bet – you can read about the points system here.
If 1 point is £1, you can win £4.04 off a £2 bet with 888 Sport (though if you can manage to put on an accumulator you can win £8.12 off a £2 bet with Coral). New customers can win £8.12 off a £2 bet at 888Sport.
Extreme Rules 2016 – Entire Card Accumulator
I should label this “Almost” entire card accumulator, shouldn’t I?
Another match, and another different bookmaker. I’m surprised this bookmaker took a bet on this, as traditionally they don’t put on long accumulators. But they did.
This has a bit of an outside shot in Cesaro. Even I’m not totally convinced but I can probably see The Miz, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn move into the Money in the Bank Ladder match, so Cesaro may be kept out to balance the card out a bit. I can also see Rusev becoming US Champion here.
- Roman Reigns beats AJ Styles
- Charlotte beats Natalya
- The New Day Beat The Vaudevillians
- Baron Corbin beats Dolph Ziggler
- Dean Ambose beat Chris Jericho
- The Club beats The Usos
- Rusev beats Kalisto
- Cesaro becomes Intercontinental Champion
I have put 1 points on the above bet – you can read about the points system here.
If 1 point is £1, you can win £13.94 off a £1 bet with Paddy Power.
Extreme Rules 2016 – Special Bets
Here are the special bets, and I’ve decided to be a bit braver with these, and go for not-exactly-obvious bets here.
- 2 or More Titles to Be Used As Weapons (£5.50 off a £1 bet with Betfair)
- Bray Wyatt to make a Ringside Appearance (£1.15 off a 50p bet with Betfair)
- Under 1.5 Announce Tables to be broken (90p off a 50p bet with Betfair)
