Welcome to the new look Wrestling Betting! Over the last part of 2013, I have been busy beavering away on the new look site. It has been a resounding success both site wise and numbers and I’m proud of the community I’m building around this site, so I’m keen to help grow this site in 2014. I love wrestling and enjoy talking about it, but in the same respect I quite enjoy a flutter, so I’m keen to grow the community around this blog!
I started this looking to join together two groups of my friends – wrestlers and wrestling fans, and the group of my friends who like a flutter. This site has become a passion that I’m keen to grow further. This begins with a redesign, which we stuck live a few days ago, but am now ready to announce to the world.
Now On Your Mobile!
I built the site on the new Peadig framework. I won’t bore you with the details but it allows an easy, responsive design. The old site was good, but the design was simple, and woe betide you check the site on the mobile or iPad, as it looked odd.
Now however it should look a lot better, meaning you can read the posts from the site anywhere. From your PC, on your mobile or even your iPad, now we are as mobile as you are.
More Posts!
One problem I had with this site was the amount of posts I could post, with at most two pay-per-views a month, I was looking at most 4 posts a month. Which is fine, but could probably do with a few more!
With that said, I didn’t want to dilute the meaning of the site with meaningless posts, so I’m only going to increase it by one or two posts a month.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, you’ll get an email within the next few days, as you subscribed when there was only going to be an email or two a month. However, the plan is to send out emails for the predictions and betting tips when they go live, as well as a monthly round up of other posts.
We also are looking for contributors, so drop us an email if you want to contribute with a post for the site.
More Community!
Of course, at the centre of the redesign is you! Winning or losing (usually winning), I love talking about wrestling, so if you have any ideas or things you want to see, or tell me you disagree with our picks, then please drop us an email, tell us on twitter or like us on facebook. It would be good to hear from you!
