It’s that time of the month again…. PPV weekend is upon us! I do actually feel like we have had more than 5 minutes since the last one to catch our breath which has been nice. There are a few decent looking matches on the card for this weekend. Again – nothing that I am so excited for that I can’t sleep but none the less I think it will be a good watch. So… let’s see what we have got coming up shall we? Here are our WWE No Mercy 2017 Predictions.

WWE Universal Championship

Brock Lesnar (c) vs. Braun Strowman

So at Summerslam there was the fatal 4 way and we all know how that went. But Strowman wasn’t happy with this as he didn’t see it as Lesnar beating him. Strowman has challenged the Beast to go one on one with him for the title this weekend. He has shown Lesnar that he has what it takes to go head to head with him, and to beat him after an altercation recently. But this time when they step into the ring Lesnar will be ready for Strowman and these two absolute power houses will fight to the death. Both are setting out to destroy the other in this match and wanting to walk away Universal Champion. Does Strowman have what it takes to finally unseat Lesnar from his reign of terror? Or will Lesnar send Strowman like so many before him back to Suplex City? I don’t think Lesnar has quite finished with his title reign just yet so I would be very very surprised if the title changed hands this weekend…

Prediction: Brock Lesnar to win

John Cena vs Roman Reigns

Well after the shock of Cena jumping brands just so he could challenge Reigns, the weekend is finally upon us when we will see these two superstars step up to each other in the ring. Reigns is keen to show Cena that he is top dog now and that it is well and truly his yard over on RAW.   I have to be honest – whenever Cena is in the ring I am usually watching to see him chattering away with his opponent in the ring… I doubt this will be any different this weekend. The match could go either way really. Cena could beat Reigns to knock him back into place and show him who really is the face and boss of the WWE locker room… or else Reigns could win and show Cena that he is past his moment at the top. I think both of these superstars annoy me equally so deciding who to put my money on is quite hard so I will leave it to the general opinion here at Wrestling Betting and go with Reigns to win I think.

Prediction: Roman Reigns to win

WWE RAW Women’s Championship

Alexa Bliss (c) vs Sasha Banks vs Bayley vs Nia Jax vs Emma

A women’s fatal 5 way match has been thrown in for the championship this weekend. I have to admit of all the matches on the card I am quite looking forward to this one. The women’s division have their ups and downs but on the whole can pull out quite entertaining matches. These 4 competitors to the title belt are all hungry for it. Nia Jax has been good friends with Bliss until she suddenly turned on her unexpectedly, throwing her hat into the ring for a title shot. Sasha Banks and Bayley are never far away when it comes to the women’s championship and with Bayley returned she has upped the threat to Bliss by getting in on this match. The only one in this match I don’t really think we need to watch is Emma. I honestly don’t see her as a real threat to Bliss, nor to the others if I am honest. The match could go several ways but I am hoping it boils down to Nia Jax and Bliss. I would love to see someone unseat Bliss. It is no secret that Bayley is a favourite of mine – along with a lot of the WWE Universe and I would love her to be champ again but I don’t think now is the time for that. Unfortunately I can see this playing out that Bliss will still be walking away from that ring champion so that is where I would have to put my money – as much as I hope I am wrong!

Prediction: Alexa Bliss to win

WWE RAW Tag Team Championship

Seth Rollins & Dean Ambrose (c) vs Cesaro & Sheamus

It still seems slightly surreal that Rollins and Dean Ambrose are teamed back up again. I mean – we all know what happened with The Shield and there has been no love loss between them since then. But they have proved again that they are a formidable force when they work together and they took the Tag Team Titles from Cesaro & Sheamus at Summerslam. I am really looking forward to this match – mostly because we all know how much I love Dean Ambrose and Sheamus… but I also love watching Rollins and Ambrose in the ring. There is just something about them especially when they work together that I just can’t look away. I think they make brilliant Tag Team Champs and I don’t see that changing yet. Their reign isn’t done.

Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins to win

Finn Balor vs Bray Wyatt

This is another Summerslam rematch. Finn walked away victorious at Summerslam and Wyatt just cannot let that go so here we go again with them facing each other to settle the score in the ring. Hostility has grown since Summerslam and this weekend when they come to clashes against each other once more, there will be no alter ego’s invovled. Both men are fighting in a man-to-man showdown. Finn is furious that Wyatt cost him his shot at a title match this weekend so he has a lot of pent up anger to let out in the ring and fuel him to the finish line of this match. Wyatt just wants to prove he can get into Finn’s head. Time will tell but I think that Finn Balor will walk away victorious this weekend with or without The Demon.

Prediction: Finn Balor to win

WWE Cruiserweight Championship

Neville (c) vs Enzo Amore

Neville seems to be running out of fresh challengers for his throne. Enzo Amore is more than happy to jump up to the challenge and take on the champ in a title match this weekend. Enzo has been claiming victories in the Cruiserweight division using some questionable tactics so I suspect we can expect to see more of the same this weekend as he attempts to become king of the division. I honestly could not be less excited about this match in the slightest. I don’t see Enzo winning it in any way shape or form – unless Neville just walks up and hands the belt over to Enzo I reckon Neville will be walking back out with it. I may use this point to go and make a cup of tea…

Neville to win

WWE Intercontinental Championship

The Miz (c) vs Jason Jordan

Well if I am using the Crusierweight match as my tea break I think this one will be my toilet break… Another match I am just simply not invested in at all. It is no secret that I cannot stand The Miz. It’s his face I think… it annoys me. Anyway – not to let that cloud my judgement…. Jordan has earned his right to be here with a shot at the Intercontinental Championship this weekend after coming out on top in a Six-Pack Challenge on RAW to determined the number one competitor. So hats off to him he has gone through some tough competition to get here. The Miz is a seven time Intercontinental Champion, and although he has won more than his fair share of matches using questionable tactics – he wouldn’t have gotten where he was without a bit of ability. The bigger question is who is going to interfere in this match up never mind who is going to win – we all know that as good a competitor as Jordan is, he just isn’t at the level he needs to be to take The Miz down.

Prediction: The Miz to win
