WWE Royal Rumble 2018 – Betting Tips

So the Royal Rumble is here! My absolute favourite pay per view of the year, and after the absolute rubbish that was Clash of Champions, boy do we have a range of bets here! There’s loads of markets on offer, and a lot of value to be have. I don’t want to ramble on as you know the Rumble and you know how popular it is, so instead I’m going straight into it. Here are my WWE Royal Rumble 2018 Betting Tips.

WWE Men’s Royal Rumble Bets

Right, here are where my money is.

Although Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan have closed in a lot over the last few days, Shinsuke Nakamura is still my favourite to win the Royal Rumble. It’s helped with the odds and the best odds you can get for Shinsuke Nakamura for winning the Royal Rumble is 11/10 with William Hill.

For the most eliminations, whilst there’s a bit of value in the obvious choices, I’ve gone for a bit of a long shot. Finn Balór has The Balór Club behind him, and an early number, I can see them dominate large portions of the match. They had a nice rub on Raw 25, so who knows. There is huge value to be had here, as for Finn Balór to have the most eliminations is 22/1 with Paddy Power and Betfair.

For making an appearance, a bit of outsider knowledge may help – Pete Dunne was pulled from a Britannia Wrestling Promotions show in the UK. Can you see him appearing in the Royal Rumble? I can. For Pete Dunne to appear at the Rumble is 4/6 with Paddy Power.

WWE Women’s Royal Rumble Bets

For the women’s match, there are slightly less betting markets but there is still some great odds to be had. For the winner, I’m tempted to say Asuka. Rousey appears to not be a part of the Royal Rumble, so it paves the way for Asuka to win. For Asuka to win the Royal Rumble it is 1.5 with William Hill.

WWE Royal Rumble Bets – Other Matches

For the rest of the matches, here’s the predictions and the best odds for these matches:-

• For AJ Styles to beat Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, the best odds you can get is 4/9 with Betfair and Paddy Power.
• For Brock Lesnar to beat Braun Strowman and Kane, the best odds you can get is 2/7 with Betway.
• For Chad Gable & Shelton Benjamin to beat The Usos, the best odds you can get is 11/10 with Betway.
• For Seth Rollins to beat The Bar, the best odds you can get is Evens with Betfair and Paddy Power.

WWE Royal Rumble 2018 Bets – Other Markets

Paddy Power have odds for all matches on the main card as well as a few Royal Rumble appearance and most eliminations markets. You can also bet on which number you can see winning. William Hill have the best odds for Royal Rumble winners.

Betway has generally the best odds for non-Royal Rumble matches.

And finally Boylesports has an interesting bet: An Irish Winner of either Royal Rumble at 7/2. Becky Lynch and Finn Balór are realistic outside shots at either Rumble, so who knows? Maybe worth a punt!
