WWE Royal Rumble 2022 – Betting Tips

On Saturday it’s one of the bigger events of the year – The Royal Rumble begins the countdown to Wrestlemania and once again, like the last few years, there’s at least one plausible winner going in. There’s a few rumours about potential entrants and victors, but nothing set in stone. Being the second biggest pay per view of the year, there’s a bit more out there in terms of booking than – say – your average September PPV. First off, we’ve gone for Roman Reigns to beat Seth Rollins. This right now seems the most logical bet and the odds for a Roman Regins victory isn’t that far fetched, and I cannot see Reigns losing it before Wrestlemania, as you feel a Reigns defeat and eventual blow off needs to happen at the grandest stage of them all (and – to be honest – I don’t think it’ll happen at this year’s Wrestlemania either). Next up, we’ve gone for a bit of an outsider: The Miz and Maryse to beat Edge & Beth Phoenix. This feels like a possible Wrestlemania match between Miz and Edge (of which Edge will win), but feel to kick off The Miz will need something on the Rated R Superstar and a win in a match like this seems sensible. Next up, the Rumbles! First up is Big E to win The Royal Rumble. He’s closed in a fair bit since the last 24 hours and if Brock Lesnar retains (which I suspect he will) then Big E makes the most logical choice to setup a probable Big E vs Lashley match at Wrestlemania. For him to win the best odds you can get is 11/2 with Boylesports.

Finally, the Women’s Royal Rumble, and Bayley to return and win the whole thing. There are rumours on Ronda Rousey returning and competing in the Royal Rumble, but I’m not convinced, as I feel it’s far fetched. Bayley seems a lot more plausible, and the best odds you have for this is 10/1 with betonline.ag.
