It’s time for one of the big 4! The Survivor Series is this weekend, often perceived to be the weakest of the big four, but with a history.

In the build up for me was a real treat, a trip to see WWE Raw in Manchester. This was absolutely superb but didn’t really advance any storylines, with the one teased match was split into two, which was unfortunate. Nevertheless it was fun, and gave me a better insight to what could possibly happen this weekend.

So without further ado, here are the predictions for WWE Survivor Series 2013!

WWE Championship Match

Randy Orton © vs The Big Show

So – as predicted – last month’s shot at the gold for Bryan was the last for the time being, as Orton is moving onto another feud, this time with The Big Show (the seeds of which were started even before the Survivor Series build up began).

Show has been injured in the build up, so not had the best build up, but even so, I am still predicting an Orton victory somehow. The only issue I can see is by having a shenanigan finish to continue the feud to build it to the Royal Rumble, as Show is quite a good main eventer to throw into a match that isn’t the Rumble, which makes a bit of sense.

Still there has been far too main events with screwy finishes. As this is probably the main event, I’m going for Orton to win.

Prediction: Randy Orton Win

World Championship Match

John Cena © vs Alberto Del Rio

So – a bit surprisingly – Cena has become champion again, after a quite remarkable 2 month recovery from a nasty elbow injury. They immediately gave him the belt, ending a summer of blandness from Alberto Del Rio.

Del Rio though has been okay in these segments with Cena, and the match has been built okay, with Cena’s arm being the main focus of this feud. Even so, I predict Cena to retain against Del Rio. Not sure who they can move him onto yet, so maybe one more match.

Prediction: John Cena Win

CM Punk & Daniel Bryan vs The Wyatt Family

One of the more interesting feuds – in particular the build up – has been the Internet Dream Team of CM Punk & Daniel Bryan in action against The Wyatt family. The feud has had all sorts, which was threatening to be an epic 6-on-6 Survivor Series match, but it wasn’t to be unfortunately.

With the match being Harper & Rowan, rather than Bray Wyatt, I could see The Wyatts losing this. They’re not unbeatable anymore, so it’ll be interesting to see what they do. However, with Punk & Bryan appearing to be on the cusp of main-event faces, I can see them getting the victory.

Prediction: CM Punk & Daniel Bryan Win

Traditional Survivor Series Match

Cody Rhodes & Goldust, The Usos & Rey Mysterio vs The Shield & The Real Americans

This is an interesting one. One one hand, Rey Mysterio is wrestling his first match in ages – the last match I remember him involved in was the Royal Rumble at the beginning of the year, so it’d be a nice – if predictable – post-comeback push. However, looking at the teams, The Shield & The Real Americans appear to be stronger on paper, and I fancy that one of that team be promoted to face Cena in the run up to Wrestlemania.

As such, I’m going to say that The Shield & The Real Americans are going to win.

Prediction: The Shield & The Real Americans Win

Traditional Survivor Series Match

Natalya, The Bella Twins, The Funkadactyls, Eva Marie, & JoJo vs. AJ Lee, Tamina Snuka, Kaitlyn, Alicia Fox, Rosa Mendes, Aksana, & Summer Rae

Really don’t care about this match, could see something between Summer Rae & Natalya and AJ & Kaitlyn, but think the AJ Lee team will eventually come out on top.

Prediction: Team Non Total Divas Win

The Miz vs Kofi Kingston

Now this could be a good one.

The Miz, who has been floundering and nobody caring, has turned heel! He did so on the European tour with good reactions, so it’s quite good that they’ve pulled the trigger on him. As such, I can see him winning this match. Kofi can get his revenge if need be in a rematch, but hopefully it is a start of the white-hot heel Miz again.

Prediction: The Miz Win
