Another month, and one of the big four is back! Yes this weekend in the WWE the card looks amazing, what with NXT killing it recently and re-introducing War Games for a match on the Saturday, as well as an absolutely stellar line up for WWE Survivor Series, once again it’s quite an exciting time to be a wrestling fan. Sunday sees the main event: Survivor Series. There are so many intriguing matches, I cannot wait! So without further ado, here are our WWE Survivor Series 2017 Predictions.

Champion vs Champion Match

Brock Lesnar vs AJ Styles

So I live in Manchester, it’s a fabulous place but one problem is often when WWE tours we don’t go. The reason? Nothing ever happens. This time….big mistake as for the first time outside of North America the WWE Championship got switched, and AJ Styles beat Jinder Mahal to become a two time WWE Champion. It was so unexpected I still cannot believe it myself. But there we are.

Instead of getting Lesnar vs Mahal (by the way we should have a void on the bet from last month) we get the much more interesting Brock Lesnar vs AJ Styles. I’m not sure exactly what will happen here, as they’ve put over Styles strong recently, but I feel right now Lesnar is above and beyond anybody on the roster, so Lesnar should win.

Prediction: Brock Lesnar Wins

Survivor Series Match

Team Raw (Kurt Angle, Braun Strowman, Finn Balór, Samoa Joe & Triple H) vs Team Smackdown (Shane McMahon, Randy Orton, Bobby Roode, Shinsuke Nakamura & John Cena)

Is this the most stacked line up for a Survivor Series match or what?

Since Vince has realised he can do real life WWE 2k18, which he has done here, this could be the match of the night. In fact short of the main event it should be. Expect this one to go long with all the talent involved. Of course, though, with such a large amount of talent on both sides, it’s tricky to see who wins. However let me make a bold prediction.

Team Smackdown does.

Look at the other side. Finn Balór and Joe don’t get on, neither do Triple H and Angle. Strowman is the monster but he has issues with Kane and there are ways to get him out of the match. Smackdown – whilst presented to be “weaker” – does seem to be a more cohesive unit, so I’m going for a Smackdown win.

Prediction: Team Smackdown

Survivor Series Match

Team Raw Women (Alicia Fox, Nia Jax, Akusa, Sasha Banks & Bayley) vs Team Smackdown Women (Becky Lynch, Carmella, Naomi, Tamina & TBC)

Now onto the rather stacked line up for the Raw vs Smackdown women. Again this is a multi woman match with some strong talent on both sides, however looking at it – as brilliant as Becky Lynch in her “Captain B” role has been, you look at Raw and you think that it has the strength.

You have two people on Raw’s team that they’re actively trying to protect: Nia Jax and Akusa, so I can see them surviving. On Smackdown’s side, the mystery participant is more than likely Natalya, but it hasn’t been confirmed at the time of writing.

Prediction: Team Raw Women

Six Man Tag Team Match

The Shield vs The New Day

This is a modern-day dream match. We were kind of robbed for The Shield at the last PPV reuniting but we get it here instead, against the longest reigning WWE World Tag Team Champions of all time.

To be honest looking at this I cannot see anything except a Shield win. It’s the first time they have been back together and bar a Meningitis outbreak it would have happened last month closing a Pay-Per-View, so I’m going for The Shield.

Prediction: The Shield

Champion vs Champion Match

Alexa Bliss vs Charlotte Flair

On last week’s Smackdown Charlotte Flair regains the WWE Smackdown’s Women’s Championship from Natalya in a rare event – a star winning in their home town. It also saw Ric Flair’s first appearance since his near-death experience which was a nice touch, and also gives us a dream match that hasn’t happened yet where Flair faces Alexa Bliss.

Looking at the card and the way in which Smackdown or Raw wins to keep it even for bragging rights, I’m going for Charlotte to win here. Although Bliss has been well protected, I feel that Flair winning is a win that will help even things up for Smackdown.

Prediction: Charlotte Flair

Champions vs Champions Match

Sheamus & Cesaro vs The Usos

And now onto the Two matches that kind of don’t make sense as there are two heels facing each other: Sure Sheamus & Cesaro vs The Usos should be a good match, but not quite sure who to cheer for right now. I guess the Usos, who teased a show of respect and a face turn at the culmination of their last feud.

Again, going on the fact that they are slightly more facey, and The Miz needs building up again slightly, I’m going for The Usos to win here.

Prediction: The Usos

Champion vs Champion Match

The Miz vs Baron Corbin

And onto the second heel match, that sees The Intercontinental Champion The Miz take on The United States Champion Baron Corbin. Unlike the previous match, neither of these have been portrayed as “Good Guys”, with The Miz being the accessory to attempted murder at the last pay-per-view. Corbin has regained some of his push from earlier this year where he failed to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase, with strong wins and a strong US Title Run.

With that said, I can see The Miz winning, as it keeps it even, and I feel that within the next year The Miz will headline more PPV’s, he’s too good as Intercontinental Champion.

Prediction: The Miz

Cruiserweight Championship Match

Enzo Amore (c) vs Kalisto

Once again this match is relegated to the pre-show, which kinda sucks as Amore as Cruiserweight champion is a breath of fresh air, his match against Pete Dunne was great, as was his match against Tyler Bate. With that said, I don’t feel it’s time yet to take the belt off Amore. So he will win.

Prediction: Enzo Amore

Anyway, they are my predictions, what are yours? Please leave them in the comments below!
