You can tell this Pay Per View (or “Network Special” as they like to call them) is sandwiched between two huge Pay Per Views (in Money in the Bank and Summerslam respectively) as the betting markets aren’t quite as strong. I mean, they’re there, but they’re not as strong as the preceding and upcoming pay per views, with only one bookmaker, 888Sport, having full match odds, and match props.

Nevertheless, there are some strange odds and some coin tosses, so it could be a way to earn a decent chunk of change. So without further ado, here are our WWE Battleground 2016 Betting Tips

WWE Battleground 2016 – Treble

This is a pretty safe treble, featuring matches involving stars that should win or retain. Rusev won’t lose to Zack Ryder, and Becky Lynch needs a win so I’m going for her to beat Natalya to kick off the feud. Sasha Banks, with her mystery partner, should make easy work of Charlotte and Dana Brooke.

  • Sasha Banks & TBD beat Charlotte & Dana Brooke
  • Becky Lynch beats Natalya
  • Rusev beats Zack Ryder

I have put 5 points on the above bet – you can read about the points system here.

If 1 point is £1, you can win £7.18 off a £5 bet with 888Sport New customers can win £11.54 off a £5 bet with 888Sport.

WWE Battleground 2016 – Five Fold

This is where it gets interesting.

I’ve gone for Cena, Enzo & Cass to win, but also The Miz is an outsider against Darren Young. As mentioned in my Battlground 2016 predictions I cannot see both mid card titles switching. Sure there could be a DQ but I cannot see Darren Young winning here. This makes this bet actually really really nice.

  • Sasha Banks & TBD beat Charlotte & Dana Brooke
  • Becky Lynch beats Natalya
  • Rusev beats Zack Ryder
  • John Cena & Enzo & Cass beat The Club
  • The Miz beats Darren Young

I have put 2 points on the above bet – you can read about the points system here.

If 1 point is £1, you can win £8.62 off a £2 bet with 888Sport New customers can win £21.86 off a £2 bet with 888Sport.

If you can put an accumulator on, you can win £8.62 off a £2 bet with Betfair, but you have one less match to bet on (the Women’s Tag Team Match isn’t on this card to bet on).

WWE Battleground 2016 – Entire Card Accumulator

So onto the main one, and like mentioned above there are some long shots here.

I think the New Day will beat The Wyatts. Wyatts are very cold and The New Day aren’t. So yeah possible face turn for Strowman here. Owens and Zayn is a coin toss, and I feel that Seth Rollins could pull an upset and beat Dean Ambrose. I’m not 100% convinced, but this is a cracking chance to get the title on the main brand.

The best odds doesn’t include Sasha Banks’ victory, so this is left off.

  • Becky Lynch beats Natalya
  • Rusev beats Zack Ryder
  • John Cena & Enzo & Cass beat The Club
  • The Miz beats Darren Young
  • Kevin Owens beats Sami Zayn
  • The New Day beats The Wyatt Family
  • Seth Rollins Wins the WWE Title

I have put 1 points on the above bet – you can read about the points system here.

If 1 point is £1, you can win £154 off a £1 bet with 888Sport New customers can win £303.55 off a £1 bet with 888Sport.

WWE Battleground 2016 – Special Bets

I’ve only one special bet this month, which is Sasha Banks’ tag team partner. I do think it would be Bayley. Naomi wouldn’t make sense as there has been a feud between her & Banks fairly recently, Nia Jax needs to be a heel (and will be treated as one), and whilst it could be Nikki Bella or Paige, I’m tempted to not say either.

Bayley to beat Sasha Banks’ Tag Team Partner: win £5 off a £2 bet with 888Sport.

Anyway, they are this PPV’s betting tips. What are yours? Please leave them in the comments below!
